Privacy notice

This notice covers landclearingbatonrouge.com, a referral service called Land Clearing Baton Rouge that is operated by Local Network Services ("we", "us"). It explains the information we get, how it's used and shared, and what you can ask us to do.

Information we get

From the quote form. Whatever you enter: name, phone, email, town or ZIP, the kind of clearing you want, the size and type of land, your timing and any notes.

From your browser. When a page loads, our hosting and security providers see routine technical details like your IP address, device and browser type, the pages viewed and the site that linked you here.

Site statistics. We may use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to learn which pages get read and whether quote requests are sent. Your form answers, name and phone number are never sent to Google Analytics. Google treats the data under its own policy, and you can block cookies or install Google's opt-out add-on.

How we use it

• Sending your request to independent land clearing companies that may quote it
• Following up with you about that request
• Keeping the site running, secure and free of spam
• Complying with the law

Who gets it

The companies you asked us to reach. When you send a request, you're telling us to share it, contact details included, with a small number of independent companies that work in your area. Those companies may call, text or email you about the job, and they may pay us for the referral. Once they have it, their own policies apply, and we're not responsible for their handling of it.

Vendors who run things for us. Hosting, form delivery, phone and email providers process information on our behalf, only as needed for those services.

When required. We may disclose information to obey the law or protect rights and safety. If this business changes hands, information may transfer with it.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers or add you to unrelated marketing lists.

Phone calls and texts

Putting your phone number in a request means you're okay with us and the companies we pass it to calling or texting about that request; carrier rates may apply. Calls to numbers on this site may be recorded to check quality and confirm referrals, and a notice plays before any recording begins. Call details may be shared with an independent company. Tell any company to stop contacting you, or reply STOP to texts where that works.

Keeping information

Requests are kept as long as needed to handle them, follow up and keep business records, normally no more than three years unless a law requires longer.

Your choices and rights

Sharing with companies only happens when you send a request asking for it. To opt out of any other sharing, email contact@landclearingbatonrouge.com with the subject "Do not sell or share." If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site won't load Google Analytics for you.

To see, fix or erase what we hold about you, or to stop future requests from being shared, write to contact@landclearingbatonrouge.com. Anything already passed to a company is in that company's hands; ask it directly.

California residents may ask what we collect and share and ask us to delete it, under California law. Send requests to contact@landclearingbatonrouge.com. Using these rights won't change how we treat you. We don't respond to "Do Not Track" browser settings.

Security

We use sensible protections, though no system can be made completely secure.

Children

This site is meant for adults, and we don't knowingly take information from children under 13.

Changes to this notice

When this notice changes, the date at the top changes too.
