Terms of use
Effective October 28, 2026
These are the rules for using landclearingbatonrouge.com (the "Site"), operated by Local Network Services as Land Clearing Baton Rouge ("we", "us"). If you use the Site or send a request, you agree to them.
1. What the service is
Land Clearing Baton Rouge is a free referral service. We take requests for land clearing, forestry mulching, lot and brush clearing, acreage work, dirt work, storm cleanup and similar jobs and pass them on to independent outside businesses ("Providers"). We are not a land clearing, tree or excavation contractor. We don't do, inspect, oversee or guarantee any work.
The name "Land Clearing Baton Rouge" refers to this referral service, not to any contractor. Providers are not our agents, employees or representatives, and they may pay us for referrals.
2. Providers are separate businesses
Any estimate, contract, warranty or bill comes from the Provider, and the price, schedule, payment and work are only between you and that Provider. Each Provider alone is responsible for its equipment, workers, licenses, permits, methods, insurance, guarantees and results.
We don't vet, check, inspect, rank or recommend Providers, and nothing we pass along is a statement about a Provider's qualifications, licensing, insurance or work. We can't promise that any Provider will reply, quote, be available or suit your job. Before you hire anyone, check them out yourself, including licensing where it applies, insurance, references and price.
3. Sending requests
Give us accurate information. Sending a request authorizes us to share it with Providers, who may phone, text or email you about it as the Privacy notice explains. Don't submit a request about someone else's property or on someone's behalf without permission.
4. Content on the Site
All Site content, including descriptions of clearing methods, timing, seasons and cost factors, is general information that may not match any Provider's prices, equipment or approach. It is not legal, engineering, environmental, safety or other professional advice, and we say nothing about what any parish, city, agency, utility, insurer, HOA or law requires or permits on your land. Have a qualified professional look at your property and check with your parish, city or provider about requirements. Pictures are illustrations, not photographs of real properties or jobs.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND THE REFERRAL SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE GIVE NO WARRANTY FOR ANY PROVIDER OR FOR ANY WORK, PRODUCT OR SERVICE FROM A PROVIDER.
6. Limitation of liability
AS FAR AS THE LAW PERMITS, NEITHER WE NOR OUR OWNERS, OFFICERS OR AGENTS WILL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE, INJURY, DELAY, LOST PROFITS OR OTHER LOSSES CONNECTED WITH ANY PROVIDER, ANY PRODUCT, ANY WORK DONE OR LEFT UNDONE, OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE. IN NO CASE WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ABOUT THE SITE OR THE SERVICE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions don't permit some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
7. Indemnification
You'll indemnify us and hold us harmless against claims, losses and costs, reasonable attorneys' fees included, that come from your use of the Site, your dealings with a Provider or your breach of these terms.
8. Acceptable use
No fake, fraudulent or spam requests, no interfering with the Site, and no automated access beyond what our robots.txt file permits.
9. Changes
We can change or end the Site or these terms at any time. Changes take effect once posted, and continued use means you accept them.
10. Law that applies
The laws of the State of California govern these terms, regardless of conflict-of-law principles. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the remainder still applies.
